Role of Advertising

Today, the role of advertising is defined as the art of creating and positioning brands, and then persuading the consumers to buy them using messages in mass media. Mass media will include radio, print ads, or television. You may probably think of advertising agencies as idea stores where everything you buy is influenced by their suggestions. Like for example the food you eat, the car you drive, and the clothes you wear most probably were patronized because you saw it somewhere as a form of media communication. And that influenced you to purchase those products. It is definitely a fun and creative field that is unique in the business world.
